Summer Update

Over the past few months we've been incredibly busy getting ready for the birth of our new baby. With this baby my parents had decided not to find out what they were having; this has made shopping for baby items really hard... we just ended up buying two of everything (pink & blue). Now that we have everything for the baby, we're all patiently yet excitedly waiting for the baby's arrival!
"Behold, children are a gift of the LORD, The fruit of the womb is a reward." ~Psalm 127:3

We  recently decided that we were getting rather tired of our RV looking like...well an RV, so we spent the month of June painting and sewing colorful curtains and pillows. If you would like to see more pictures of our RV makeover you can head over to my Mom's blog Here.
I  recently had a conversation with my Mom in which I explained that I loved living in the RV and couldn't imagine living in a bigger space. I like the closeness, both in space and in family. God has truly blessed us and taught us to trust in him. Living on the RV we have truly learned that we may make our plains, but ultimately He directs our path and that means stay flexible!   "For You, O God, will bless the righteous; with favor you will surround him as with a shield." ~ Psalm 5:12

In the month of July we spent an amazing two weeks vacationing in Florida! We went last year for Moriyah's 1st birthday and decided to go back to the same place every year for her birthday and spend two weeks. We ended up splitting our time between Pensacola and Destin. Below are pictures from our trip...

As of this week I am totally done with High School! I am enjoying meal planning, grocery shopping, cooking for my family, and experimenting with Spelt and gluten free flours. Out of all the flours I've tried, Spelt is my favorite; not only is it the cheapest I've found ($40 for a 25 pound bag with free shipping on Amazon) and used, but it also tastes the closest to wheat and is great for baking.

I'm still praying about what direction God wants me to go in as far as midwifery, though my ultimate desire is to be a wife and mother and really just honor and glorify God with my life and serve in whatever capacity God calls me to.

I will leave you with one of my favorite encouraging scripture verses from last weeks Torah portion.
"Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid or terrified because of them, for the LORD your God goes with you; he will never leave you nor forsake you." Deuteronomy 31:6
