Shabbat Shalom!

 Shabbat Shalom, Everyone!

Praying that all of you are having an immensely blessed Shabbat and that each of you have been able to fully enter into the joy and rest of  Yeshua!
Now to finish catching up to current events. After this post I will start doing weekly updates.
January 25, 2018~
We spent the afternoon at the Birmingham zoo. It was quite lovely and the weather was exceptional! I think I can speak for everyone in my family when I say that we are very much looking forward to putting the winter behind us and will be welcoming spring and summer with open arms! I love taking pictures and had a lot of fun testing out my photography skills with my new iPhone 8.

 January 28-31, 2018~
This past week was wonderful! Grandpa Brumlow came and stayed with us for  few days. It was such a blessing to spend time with him and also to listen to all of his stories! While he was with us we took a day trip to the Jesse Owens Museum in Danville, AL. It was a wonderful experience and I truly wish we would have received the pleasure of meeting Mr. Owens. If you have never watched 'Race' I would highly recommend it. It is a VERY good movie about him.

Preparation day in the Brumlow household was fun and lively, as usual! Music blaring, the smells of freshly baked goods and sauteed vegetables permeating the house, and up to five people at a time dancing around each other in the kitchen; all working together to make Shabbat look beautiful and as different from the rest of the week as possible!

The older two girls (Rebekah and Irelyne) and I, went out just before Shabbat. The sunset was so gorgeous. I simply had to stop and take a few pictures! It was such a gift from the Father to my heart! I was truly reminded to stop and exhale from the busyness of the week and to breath in deeply and take joy in the beauty of Shabbat.

“Just as one candle lights another and can light thousands of other candles, so one heart illuminates another heart and can illuminate thousands of other hearts.” ~Leo Tolsto

I hope that everyone has a blessed week!
